Mayborn's Mammoth Bronzes

The Mayborn Museum is transforming the way Central Texans experience education. Whether we are introducing a child to a solar eclipse or cultivating the next generation of Baylor University scientists and historians, we spark curiosity at the Mayborn Museum every day. When you give to the Mayborn, you join us in inspiring learning in Central Texas.
In 2024, we are celebrating 20 years in our riverfront home on Baylor University’s campus. For 20 years, our building has welcomed over 2 million visitors, supported hundreds of researchers, and housed an important collection of Central Texas history. People like you helped us spark curiosity in Central Texas. But now, we are at another turning point in our story.
Help us reignite curiosity in our Natural history hall. Join our visionary plan to transform “Central Texas: The Crossroads of Time and Place.” We will bring the museum’s exhibits up to date and offer visitors a more hands-on, immersive experience. We hope that this exhibit will encourage every Central Texas resident to see themselves and explore the natural landscapes that drew people to the area.
The Mayborn is working with the foundry to plan a trip for high level donors to add their birth year penny to the sculpture.
