History

The primary focus of the Mayborn Museum Complex History Collection is life in central Texas prior to the 20th century. The collection can be divided into the categories of Structure, Furnishing, Personal, Scientific, Transportation, Communication, Tools, and Recreational Artifacts. A secondary focus is a collection of objects related to Baylor University History, from the founding of the university in 1845 through recent events.
