Transportation Artifacts are objects created to transport or distribute animate and inanimate things. These include not only the containers used for shipping but also the equipment that facilitates air, land, railway, and water transportation. Examples of Transportation Artifacts in the Mayborn Museum collection include a late 19th Century doctor’s buggy and an 1850 oxen yoke.
