Visitor Conduct Guide
In order to maintain a safe environment for our visitors, staff, and the museum, we have created a Visitor Conduct Guide outlining acceptable conduct at the Mayborn Museum.
Mayborn Sensory Backpacks
The Mayborn aims to offer parallel, adapted options for those who have sensory sensitivities. To make the Mayborn experience more accessible and enjoyable for these families, we are offering sensory backpacks.
Sensory backpacks are free resources available at the front desk at the Mayborn. These backpacks include noise reduction headphones, fidget/relaxation toys, and a modified map to indicate loud and quiet spaces in the Museum. Each backpack also includes a custom visual schedule. This is a visual tool that depicts the Museum experience using symbols and pictures. We hope you enjoy your visit!
