Baylor Lifelong Learning (LLL) is a volunteer-led program offering engaging educational opportunities and experiences for adults ages 50 and older. Each fall and spring semester, participants can enjoy courses, lectures, special events, and social activities covering a wide variety of topics.
Whether you're looking to explore new interests, expand your knowledge, or connect with others who enjoy lifelong learning, Baylor Lifelong Learning provides a welcoming community for intellectually curious adults.
Getting Started
- Browse current offerings by selecting Lifelong Learning Courses from the left-hand menu.
- A Mayborn Museum Membership is required to register for Lifelong Learning courses.
- Courses are developed each semester by the Lifelong Learning Curriculum Committee.
- Subscribe to the Lifelong Learning Community Newsletter to stay informed about upcoming programs and events.
- Learn about volunteer opportunities and ways to become involved with the program.
Parking Information
Lifelong Learning participants may park on campus when attending courses and events.
- Free parking is available in front of the Mayborn Museum Complex for museum visitors.
- Additional parking is available at the Ferrell Center and McLane Stadium when the museum lot is full.
- To avoid parking citations, all vehicles should be registered with Baylor Parking Services and obtain a free visitor permit.
To register your vehicle:
- Visit Baylor Parking Services.
- Select My Parking Account.
- Create a visitor account.
- Register your vehicle using your license plate number.

Shared Interest Groups (SIGs)
Shared Interest Groups (SIGs) are a free benefit of Lifelong Learning membership. These member-led groups bring participants together around common interests, with each group determining its own meeting schedule, location, and activities.
Participation in SIGs is free; however, active Lifelong Learning membership is required.
Fall semester meetings typically take place between September and January.

Starting a New Shared Interest Group
Members may propose a new Shared Interest Group by submitting a written request to the Lifelong Learning President or Program Administrator.
Requests must include:
- A minimum of five Lifelong Learning members interested in the topic
- A designated group coordinator
- A topic consistent with the mission and values of Baylor University, the Mayborn Museum Complex, and Baylor Lifelong Learning
All new groups must be approved by the Lifelong Learning Leadership Team.
