Mayborn hosts "Castle Builder" Family Day

Step into the Middle Ages at the Mayborn Museum during Castle Builder Family Day, a hands-on event designed for families to build, create, and play together.

Throughout the day, visitors can test their skills with pool noodle jousting, craft and decorate their own royal crowns, and explore what daily life in a castle might have been like. These interactive activities encourage imagination, collaboration, and creative problem-solving for children of all ages.

This drop-in family program is included with museum admission and offers a fun, low-pressure way for families to learn through play while enjoying a little medieval-inspired adventure.
