Join us on April 30 for a lecture with Jay Banner, Ph.D., a 2024 Cherry Award Winner and leading expert on climate and water sustainability in Texas.
As the F.M. Bullard Professor at UT Austin and Director of the Environmental Science Institute, Dr. Banner’s research explores climate and hydrologic processes, the geologic record, and the impact of human activity on water resources.
Dr. Banner will discuss how climate change is shaping Texas, what we can learn from caves and ancient environments, and how communities can build resilience in the face of environmental challenges.
