Field Trips at the Mayborn Museum

Make learning unforgettable with a field trip to the Mayborn Museum. Our galleries invite students to explore Texas history, natural science, and culture through hands-on discovery—at their own pace and on their own path. A self-guided field trip allows teachers and chaperones to tailor the experience to their curriculum and students’ interests.

Please note: due to its limited capacity, Play Waco is not available for group visits.

Planning Your Visit

Field trips are available Monday–Friday during regular museum hours, subject to availability. We encourage teachers to reserve early in the school year to secure preferred dates.

Group Supervision Requirement
All school groups must provide at least one adult group leader (18 years or older) for every 10 students.

How to Schedule a Field Trip

To request a field trip date, please contact the Mayborn Museum Guest Services team:

  • Email: MaybornCS@baylor.edu
