Meet Rocio: International Textile Artist & Curator

Join us at the Mayborn Museum for a special event featuring Rocio, an international textile artist with a passion for natural dyes, fibers, and weaving techniques. Rocio’s work has been showcased in exhibitions and workshops across the USA, Mexico, South America, and Europe. She has also contributed to film, murals, and installations right here in Waco.

Did you know? Rocio designed the iconic masks for The Mask of Zorro and the unforgettable costume for Nacho Libre!

For the past four years, she has curated the Cultural Arts Festival’s Ofrenda during Waco’s Día de los Muertos weekend, bringing her artistic vision to life.
